Shipping policy

We currently offer shipping through USPS (United States Postal Service). We cannot make any guarantees to the date of your delivery due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some packages may take longer than usual, however, as of August 2022, most shipments made via Priority Mail average between 1-3 business days for delivery. Orders shipped through Parcel Select Ground while generally cheaper tend to take longer; averaging 3-6 business days.

USPS PRIORITY MAIL

As of November 24, 2020, we are also offering Priority Mail Flat Rate shipping. You can select this option at checkout, if applicable. This option tends to be more economical for customers who may live further away from our East Coast location, or for larger/heavier orders. Flat Rate Shipping is available on orders up to 70 lbs and has a flat rate of $21.05 (updated on 08/12/2025 in accordance with USPS rates). These prices are subject to change, at any time, in accordance with USPS shipping rates.

All domestic orders are placed using Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express, when selected at checkout. Orders placed internationally will be shipped using Priority Mail International. Please note that international orders may incur additional import, VAT, or other state/local taxes. Shipping costs are calculated and determined solely by the USPS, which are paid by the customer.

Fern x Flow is not responsible for any orders placed with incorrect shipping information, resulting in a delay or non-delivery of order. Once an order has been either picked up or dropped off to a carrier (USPS) for delivery, we no longer assume responsibility for the package. By default, all Priority Mail orders are insured up to $50, and Priority Mail Express orders are insured up to $100.

FREE SHIPPING: ORDERS $125+

As of Monday, November 18, 2024, our FREE Priority Mailing Shipping option will now be applied to orders of $125+ due to increasing packaging and delivery costs. At this time, this option is only available to customers within the continental United States. We hope to offer additional savings in the future.

FREE LOCAL DELIVERY: ORDERS $100+

If you reside within 6 miles of our Woburn, MA headquarters you qualify for local delivery on orders $50+ placed before 12:00PM EST Monday - Friday. Orders $50-$99 are a flat $6 delivery fee, while orders $100+ are FREE. Orders placed after this time, or placed on Saturday or Sunday, will be delivered within the next two available business days. Option will be shown automatically at checkout on qualifying orders.

FERN X FLOW DELIVERIES ARE CARBON NEUTRAL

As of August 1, 2022 all of our shipping and local delivery orders are now carbon neutral! Thanks to the Planet app, from Shopify, we're able to purchase credits on every order toward carbon capture and removal. We know our customers care about our environmental impact, and their own, and we couldn't be more happy to now offer this. This is one more step in the right direction to continue to reduce our carbon footprint and incorporate even more green and eco-friendly practices into our small business.
