In searching for a new organization to donate to, we decided to circle back to the Indigenous-led organizations we were recommended back in 2022. For the Q1+Q2 2023 donation we chose the Native Conservancy a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, started in 2003, "to empower Alaska Native peoples to permanently protect and preserve endangered habitats on their ancestral homelands."

For the fourth and final donation of 2022, we’d like to announce our largest ever donation! Five percent of sales between October and December 2022 totaled a whopping $1,395.58, which we were able to donate to Eden Reforestation Projects!

So, we’re still playing catch-up from last year (yeah… we know), but we’ve got a new donation for the third quarter (July-September) of 2022. With this donation, we were able to donate a total of $336.27 to another eco-friendly organization, The Ocean Cleanup, which develops technology to remove ocean plastic pollution.

Admittedly, we’re extremely late in making our quarterly donations this year. We’ve been hearing more about Monarch butterflies being endangered so much so that they’re close to extinction. We did some research and came across two non-profit organizations, The Xerces Society and Save Our Monarchs to make our donations.
